Help Doc Martin get to SD Rez to serve

Hihanni was'te mitakuyapis- good day to you my relatives. I'm writing this, with great humility, and seeking help to cover my expenses for my trip to the reservation this summer. I will be going for several reasons besides attending the Sundance ceremony. I have been a Sundancer for many decades and have spent over 7 years of my life working on different reservations, always without a fee. I will be taking all my equipment as well as my herbal supplements and homeopathics and be treating the people all for free . All this expense is out of my own pocket I have never charged any of my indigenous family for my diagnostic worker for any supplemental products I might recommend . Anything you can do to help is deeply appreciated if you could share on Facebook that would be wonderful as well I do not have a presence there . I'm going out before the Sundance in order to help the people and to do educational work on growing and sprouting raw living Foods as well as sharing with them the importance of a strong immune system and helping to deal with generations of trauma physical and emotional. I will be making prayer Flags to honor each of you who has supported in whatever way possible that will hang up on the sacred tree. I am a Naturopathic doctor who is now semi-retired and lives on a very small monthly income. The truck I drive is almost 30 years old and I live a very simple life. Since retiring from my clinic I do not have the money to make the trips out to the reservation as I did when I had my clinic in the Detroit area. For many decades I have been trying to get the people to become more aware of eating properly and taking care of their bodies, yet when you are in survival mode as I have seen on the different reservations sometimes it's hard when day to day life is so difficult. Now the people are ready to receive the information I have been trying to share so what my plan is to do classes for the children and the parents before and after the Sundance on nutrition. I will be sharing classes on the function of the immune system and how we can heal the body all for free. I have taught this over the past 50 years across four different continents as well as to tens of thousands of patients in my clinic and through the various radio shows I have had in the Detroit area and in New York City. To me, this is the opportunity I prayed for for many many years. To help the people help themselves. In order to make the trip I will need to rent an suv, because I will be using that to sleep in and save money that way also. I will also need finances for fuel to and from the reservation. I still have my medical equipment that I used in my office and I will be taking that as well to do free treatments for the children and the elders. As I said before I have never charged a penny for my services plus I have donated more money than I can recount helping my relatives on the reservations. I have worked with many different tribes to numerous to mention and this time I will be going to the Pine Ridge reservation. If you do not know it is the second poorest community in the northern hemisphere, second only to Haiti. I have been a giver my whole life so this is very difficult to even ask for any help yet if you can find it in your heart to donate anything to help me along this Trail to helping the people it would be very much appreciated. Each of you, if you like to leave your name, will be headed to my prayer list and I will make prayers for you that will hang upon the sacred tree at the Sundance this year. Again, this is very difficult for me, and it's that important that I have humbled myself to ask for help and through the grace of my dear friend Rachel who was the inspiration to help me. I'm coming upon my 73rd winter upon this planet and have been very blessed to have studied with many Elders from many different tribes over the decades. As they have freely taught me I freely share the gifts that they have given to me so freely. This is all part of the prophecy that was shared with me from the Hopi people when I was a young man. When the people awaken in the spiritual values that they have to bring to the world start to manifest into all of society, and boy do we need that now, the power of that spirituality could ignite the entire world. It's time for the indigenous people of the world to gather together and share the spiritual values of the strength found in unity and the unity is found in our diversity.
