Help me keep my promise to Doctor Moo

I promised to do my very best for Calf. Moo did everything he could, and now I'm taking over.

A toddler is in a very unsafe home. An organization that should be helping protect her are keeping her in the care of someone who has an extensive, negative, and alarming history of abuse. The father of this baby girl is being held up in court, with no progress. By donating, and sharing, you are helping to get a lawyer so this toddler can finally have a safe and happy home with her dad.

Purpose: The purpose of this GFM is to help a little girl (2 ½ years old), whose safety and well-being is at risk. All of the donations will be going towards legal fees for those purposes only, i.e. for the best of good causes.

Who we are: We are a “LawTube” community group. If you are active in the LawTube genre you may be familiar with our names. We have set up this GoFundMe on behalf of our friend “Doctor Moo”, whose name you may also know. The little girl is his daughter, who we will call “Calf”. There are a few reasons for not using legal names, the main reason is to avoid any potential retaliation from Doctor Moo’s ex-partner.

Doctor Moo has shared his story and the “receipts” with members of our group. Several of us have independently validated it. Nearly all of what is stated here is either admitted, undisputed, or confirmed by those receipts. As a group, we are very concerned about Calf’s safety and well-being.

All decisions regarding the allocation of funds donated will be done by the group and not Doctor Moo himself. He has insisted on this transparency. He has also instructed us to manage and disburse funds directly (i.e. not to him), and only for benefit of his daughter. The disbursement will have group oversight. The funds will be held in trust by a group member who works in finance.

Excerpt of Doctor Moo’s testimony: “One of the things that really has always – was probably my biggest trauma is being separated from my family and a home. Because that’s all I’ve ever wanted, ever since I was a kid. All I ever wanted to have, was to have a family and a place to be. To raise a family, have kids, have a partner. If I had a wish in life, that would be it.”

About Doctor Moo: A longtime LawTube community member, Doctor Moo lives in British Columbia, Canada. He is the biological parent, guardian, and very proud father of Calf (aged 2 ½).

Doctor Moo has a lifelong history of putting kids first. As a teen, he was a public advocate for youth rights. As an adult, he held public office in a major Canadian city, where he was responsible for child safety and representing the voice of youth. He has numerous certifications in children’s safety, rights and welfare. As of 2023, he volunteers for Make-a-Wish (passing their stringent background checks).

Doctor Moo has fostered two kids, who are now in their 30s and still call him “dad”. He was step-dad to two other young kids in need of a stable role model; they were vocal about their love for him. He was also director of a summer camp - many years later, he continues to be close with a number of those kids, who have come forward to strongly support him. Doctor Moo is established to have no history of child mistreatment or neglect, and none is alleged of him towards Calf.

Doctor Moo has poured his life and all his resources putting his values into practice of making kids feel safe, loved, and heard. The tragedy is he now finds himself with no resources left to help his own child (Calf) when he needs it most.

Sadly, Doctor Moo was the victim of IPV in the relationship from which Calf was born in 2021. He finally found the strength to leave the relationship when his (ex)partner began to involve Calf in it. As soon as he separated, she cut Doctor Moo almost completely out of Calf’s life.

On top of this, Doctor Moo has been the target of a barrage of harmful acts of his ex-partner towards him. They are ongoing. It is not appropriate to describe them here, as the details are disturbing. They include his ex-partner publicly defaming him in the community, including with claims of the worst kind (investigated and established by authorities as untrue). These and other acts have left him in fear of his safety and unable to work.

Due to all of the above, Doctor Moo has been placed on indefinite stress leave by his insurer. He lives on fixed-income disability benefits. He cannot afford a lawyer on his own.

About Calf: To date, no Court has heard any evidence about Doctor Moo’s parenting. His ex-partner has delayed those hearings for over two years. Doctor Moo has shared the Court transcripts confirming this with members of our group. That issue is ripe for a review of the matter by the superior courts, but he needs a lawyer’s help for that.

Doctor Moo has had scarce access to Calf since she was a little baby. We know Calf loves to play with marbles, likes dinosaurs, and always wins mooing competitions with her dad. We should know so much more about her, but Doctor Moo’s ex-partner has denied him contact with Calf (including on all holidays and birthdays). Against his will, he has averaged less than 5 hrs/month access with Calf in over 2 years.

Doctor Moo has no photos of him and Calf since she was a newborn, due to his ex-partner forbidding him taking photos. She also forbade his family members from seeing Calf. She has forbidden Doctor Moo from feeding Calf; having her at his home; bringing toys or gifts; driving with her; going to activities; and more. Her claim is that CPS demands those restrictions. CPS has sworn and stated they have made no such demands.

Following the recent release of a qualified expert’s report assessing Doctor Moo to be a safe and highly capable parent, his ex-partner cut off all contact between him and Calf. That was just before Christmas.

Calf’s other parent has an extensive CPS history with her other two children from a prior relationship. Records from 2012 through at least 2021 document multiple assaults to those children by their father, along with extensive domestic violence and substance abuse while in care of them. He is documented as having acrimony towards both Calf and Doctor Moo. Calf’s other parent was present for most of those events. In 2019, she was found by a Judge to be unprotective of her children to s*xual abuse risk. She now admits to regularly associating with that person again, and leaving Calf in his sole care - and that he is still not sober.

Doctor Moo has shared his detailed written accounts of his observations of Calf, which he has also sworn under penalty of perjury. His accounts detail specific panic reactions of Calf, and verbalizations when her diaper area is exposed. Many of our group are either mothers or have worked in childcare, and we agree those reactions are extremely abnormal and alarming.

Medical reports (obtained by Doctor Moo under FOI) and other documents describe Calf as reacting in panic when placed on her back, or approached by “males” (other than Doctor Moo, whom she clings to). This is consistent with Doctor Moo’s independent accounts written before he received the documents.

CPS is refusing to investigate. Their view is that it should be brought up in the Court matters between Doctor Moo and his ex-partner. Those familiar with cases covered by LawTube will know that CPS can, and does, fail to investigate legitimate abuse cases (especially in the context of a break-up).

This is why we are asking for your help. Calf’s safety and well-being are at stake. Doctor Moo has battled hard on his own, but the situation is now beyond critical. This GoFundMe is specifically so Doctor Moo can retain Counsel who can work quickly to remedy these issues. On Doctor Moo’s insistence (and our agreement), the funds will be used only for the purposes of ensuring Calf’s safety and well-being.
