Help Don & Natasha’s Fire Recovery Efforts

Donation protected
On January 9, 2022, our uncle Don and cousin Natasha MacAskill lost their home.

The apartment building for which they lived in Imperial Beach, CA caught fire in the early morning hours, waking all the residents in a panic and forcing them to vacate their apartments within seconds. Both Don and Natasha were not hurt in the fire, but they have been displaced. Unfortunately, the fire caused such severe damage that the building was deemed unsafe to live.

In addition to the unexpected expenses to find a new home and relocate, Don and Natasha’s apartment was completely immersed in black smoke causing damage to all their belongings, furniture, clothing, and food.

We would like to take up donations to assist them in making this transition as smooth as possible and help them replace any items that cannot be salvaged. Thank you in advance for your consideration in helping our loved ones through this terrible situation.
