Help Don & Pam Owens with recent medical issues

My name is Dara, I'm Pam Owens' and Don Owens' niece, and I've organized this page for those who would like to help them out with Don's recent surgeries and hospital stays, and Pam's ER visit. They are always there to help us out, now it's our time to help them!

Unbeknownst to Don, a small piece of bone in his foot became dislodged and has caused a range of issues from sepsis, to MSSR, to blood clots. He also suffered a sprain while in the hospital. All of this has resulted in multiple surgeries and lengthy hospital stays. He is not yet in the clear, so treatment, services, and doctor's visits are ongoing at this time with more to come.

The saga started on June 13th and since that time, neither of them has been able to work as Don requires around the clock care. In the midst of everything, Pam had a flare-up of diverticulitis on June 29th which required an ER visit herself while Don was still hospitalized.

A few days later they were able to go home but Don began having breathing problems. He was rushed back to the hospital and admitted to ICU with blood clots.

Due to unrelated circumstances, Pam has since lost her job. It has been a stressful whirlwind, and even though things have finally begun to calm down, it's the worst time possible to have no income as the bills start to roll in.
