Support Donald's Funeral and Final Expenses

I am saddened to say Donald passed away. The doctor said he had a strong spirit all the way to the end.

I appreciate all of the love and support during the past few months while Donald has been taken care of.

I am converting this gofundme into covering his final expenses. Any money that is not utilized will be donated to a charity that Donald would have supported.

My name is Brett Estep. I have known Donald Steward for over 15 years and been his roommate for the last 4 years. I have been supporting him with the help of other wonderful people through his hospital stay and while he is in his rehab facility.

He was in the hospital in the ICU for 29 days. He had a very severe form of pneumonia and it took him a long time to fight off this bacterial infection. He was in medically induced coma for many days to help him fight the infection. He is getting better each day but still has difficulty performing basic functions.

Donald has already started receiving bills from various medical billing companies. I want to help him out with his hospital bills and his regular bills as well since he has been unable to work for the last 6 weeks.

His boss has only paid him for part of his time out of the office. He currently is unable to work and still working on getting better in rehab. I have had to assist him with most tasks. He will be unable to work for at least a few more weeks.

Please help out in a way you can. Any donation is very greatly appreciated.
