My name is Nabil Zaqout , a 33 year old, computer systems engineer from Gaza, Palestina. I am a husband and a father to three children: Leen (8 years old), Moeen (5 years old), and Rema (9 months old).

I write this with a heavy heart and great reluctance, but the urgent need to save my family outweighs my pride and hesitation.

Before the war, I lived a life filled with achievements and cherished moments. Graduated in Computer Systems Engineering from Al-Azhar University in 2013.

Specialized in web development, SEO, Python, and PHP.

After years of hard work, Lord Group Company in January 2022, a company specializing in web development, SEO, and multimedia, my company was developing rapidly and noticeable growth.

But life took an Unexpected Turn.

On October 11, 2023, during the first week of the war on Gaza, Jabalia Camp in northern Gaza was threatened, and evacuation warnings were issued as it was to be declared an active war zone. As a result, we moved to Rafah in southern Gaza to save our lives. Since that time, I have not seen my home or my company.

Due to the war on Gaza, Lord Group was almost entirely destroyed, and all equipment and contents were stolen.

and I have been financially drained in Rafah due to high prices.

Now, we are without a home, company, income, or any things !

My family and I became refugees in rafah, moving In a tent from one temporary shelter to another.

Most of my websites, accounts, and projects were on my company’s computer, and due to power and internet outages, I could not manage anything.

- How the funds will be spent?

The cost of issuing a passport on the same day is 130$ (total 650$ for all family).

The cost of evacuation per person to Egypt: 10,000$, and 2500$ for a kid (a total of 27,500$ for all family members).

Air ticket with visa from Egypt to Turkey : 500$ (total 2,500$).

Accommodation: 14,000$ , ( Securing temporary accommodation in Turkey for 3-4 months, including rent and basic utilities).

Basic Necessities: 7,000$ , (Clothing, Food, Healthcare and Medical Needs, During the Initial Months).

Local Transportation: 1,500$,( Expenses for local transportation such as public transit or taxis) .

Miscellaneous Expenses: 3,500$ , ( Covering unforeseen expenses including communication costs, taxes, and other service fees) .
