Hello All!

If you don't know me, my name is Alan. I am a 36yo Trans-Man (he/him) who has been on T for over a decade now. After 15 years of binding, I'm very excited to share that I finally got the green light for top (chest) surgery on July 22nd, 2022 - so close!!

I started my transition journey in late 2006 by telling a few close friends what was on my mind. Very shortly after that, I went through the name change process in 2007 and started my new life as Alan! I never thought I would get to the point where I could start hormone treatment, but finally, in 2011, a friend gave me great information about Howard Brown and off I went! Now here I am 15 years later, and I am able to finally get top surgery!! Though this has taken almost two decades to become a possibility, I wouldn't change anything.

Now to the reason for this GoFundMe! I have been saving up for the past few years in hopes that I would be able to fund this on my own. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital after a hit & run in November, which set me back a bit. If you are able, I'm hoping to get some funds to help with the procedure costs, downpayment, and in case of any extra time off needed post-surgery for recovery and medications. If you are not able to help financially, no problem! Even a share would help immensely.
