Help Donate To Richard And His Family To Fight Cancer

Hi everyone! My name's Richard and I was just diagnosed with the big C, cancer, last month on 3/06/25. I'm a 50-year-young man with a loving and supportive wife and 2 kids, ages 12 & 13.

With the deepest of my heart and with the utmost gratitude I can give, I/we will be asking for as much help as we possibly can on this new journey of ours.

This fund is to help with the cost of medical expenses and services, help with fuel, food, and medicines that'll be needed. I have had 2 procedures already for hemorrhoids—yes, you read that right. This time, for a 3rd go-around, they found a tumor in the same place, did a biopsy. So as of March 3rd, I've been out of work. Biggest reason, I'm a commercial truck driver. And what do we do? We sit and drive. Right now, it's even hard to stand or sit for long periods. We have barely any income coming in. My job is our lifeline. My wife is doing her best at her job as she is a wonderful preschool teacher with so much passion to teach the little ones, and that's all I can ask. Our bills, our rent, our phones, food—the list goes on.

I couldn't even guess a number for what the cost will be, so I have set a limit I'm trying to reach, and it is just in case we do need that much. As we all know, everything and anything will be used towards these events.

With a lot of thought, this might be the right place to ask. So my treatments have started on 4/14/25. Radiation and chemo started on Monday for squamous cell cancer stage 3. I'll be doing 30 radiation treatments and 2 chemo sessions. I've been thinking of starting a GoFundMe for the past 3 weeks, and now I think I'm ready to sit down and put one out. Man, this new adventure is taking a lot of energy and time, a huge financial toll. Thank you in advance ☺️
