Help Donavan Get A Short Bus

Donavan is a young comedian with a rare and sexy disease you’ve probably never heard of before: Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2. As a result of this disease, he is confined to a wheelchair and is highly vulnerable to infection. In the beginning 2020, just as his stand-up career was beginning to gain traction, COVID-19 hit and put a halt to his aspirations.

Traveling has been nearly impossible for years due to not having the proper means of transportation that can accommodate him and his power chair. So not only has he been forced to turn down multiple opportunities to inflict his comedic stylings upon others in various locations, but even the simplest of ventures to get out have been a struggle. Additionally, even though comedy clubs are opening, it is still risky for Donavan to go out into the world to perform at a venue where he could potentially contract COVID-19.

Donavan needs a vehicle that will allow him to go out into the world while also acting as an on-the-go studio/stage where he could record safely with guests and preform his brand of caustic offensive comedy for the unwitting public.

Any funds obtained that go beyond what is needed to obtain this vehicle will go towards customizations to increase accessibility and will also be used to fund content creation on the road.
