My name is Ulrika from Finland, and I am helping to organise this fundraiser on behalf of Donea in Gaza, who I have been in contact with and want to support. She hopes to be able to finish her studies, as well as survive with her family:

Hello my friends, my name is Donea Abu Saqr from Gaza. I am 21 years old. I studied general nursing in the fourth year at the Islamic University. I was first in my class. I had a dream of graduating from the university in the last academic year of 2024 with an excellent grade and achieving my dream by working in the Al-Shifa Hospital, but then something unexpected happened - the war in Gaza broke out. My dreams were destroyed - most of the universities in Gaza were destroyed and bombed, specifically the Islamic University where I study. They also destroyed the hospitals in Gaza. I still strive to complete my university education and obtain the masters degree I have dreamed of and worked hard for. My aim with this fundraiser is to collect enough to be able finish my last year of studies abroad, as well as help my family in Gaza in the current difficult situation. I hope you will be able to help me reach my goal.

How the funds will be used

For the moment people fundraising in Gaza are forced to withdraw and use their funds for food and basic necessities to their families. Donea will use of her funds to get by in everyday life with her family.

Donea also hopes to collect enough to be able to leave Gaza and afford studies in Egypt, or elsewhere if the chance would arise.

The fee to evacuate is starting from 5000$ via Hala consulting, and then also funds for university fees and living costs must be collected.
