please Help Donna on her long road to recovery
Donation protected
My name is Terri and I am starting this page for my niece Donna Jean. I'm here to ask for your financial support and prayers.
She was on her way to work when she was hit head-on by a stolen car driven by a 15-year-old boy. After hitting her car he went into a house before running away from the scene
Donna had to be cut out of her car and suffered extensive injuries.
Now the news station reported that she had minor injuries. But unfortunately, this was not the case, She has had 4 surgeries and will need more. Her injuries include needing a
Colostomy bag, broken ankle, Fractured heel, fractured lower spine, 4 broken ribs, and an open gash on her stomach that requires 2 wound vacs.
Not only does she have many physical injuries but also many psychological issues. She doesn’t think she will ever be able to drive again.
Donna has an adult son and daughter. She also has a long-time live-in boyfriend. She has 2 dogs right now as one of her fur babies crossed the rainbow bridge not long ago. She has a sister, mother, father, nephew, and many other family members.
Donna is a strong woman. She is 54 years old. She is a fighter, she does what she needs to care for her family. She has worked hard all her life. Nothing was ever handed to her nor did she ask for help from anyone.
Donna had many jobs throughout her life. She worked in jewelry factories, retail, receptionist secretary, and presently has her own business as a pet sitter and walker. she was on her way to care for a customer's cat when the accident happened.
Donna has a long hard road ahead of her. She will be going to rehab once she is out of the hospital. She will need physical and psychological counseling. She is not sure what her future holds.
All monies will be used for medical bills, transportation to and from Drs, therapy, etc. Also, donations will be used for household expenses.
Anything helps and is greatly appreciated.
If you cannot donate please share this page. We also ask for your prayers. Thank you for reading this page.
