Help Donovan Family Cover Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
In loving memory of Stephen James Donovan, who was a selfless father, compassionate husband, honourable brother, humble uncle and rock-on friend. This good-hearted man lived a full life and loved large. December 3rd, 2023, was his last day with us. We were blessed to have him on Earth these past 60 years. Stephen loved the Toronto Maple Leafs - they won on this last day, which those closest to him would know would have brought him a good laugh and a smile to his kind face.
Though Steve had muscular dystrophy all his life, among other health issues, including heart and lung complications, he always had a smile and a large, undoubtable amount of love in his heart. Steve was proud to support those around him and live his life selflessly.
Stephen’s spirit now lives through the lives of his loved ones: his loving wife, Karen; his beautiful daughters, Natalie and Maelanda; and Orane, who he loved like a son. His friends and family miss him dearly, and his loss will be felt by everyone who knew him. These four, whom he loved wholeheartedly, were his closest family and currently need to pay the expenses of his unexpected passing. On behalf of the Donovan family, this fundraiser is asking for donations to help cover the cost of funeral expenses. The funds will help cover service fees, product charges, headstone, casket and floral details for the funeral, etc. It is asked that any contributions made please be according to your financial ability during this holiday season. The reality of this tragedy is that this time has become a season of grief for the Donovan family. I believe they do not deserve the financial burden fate has put on them during this time and a time so close to Christmas.
On behalf of the Donovan family, thank you for the acts of kindness and donations made during this unseasonable time. Community and support go a great distance during times of need. The funeral services will be held this Thursday for any friends or family of Steve who want to come out and celebrate his life. Please find funeral details and obituary on the Steele Funeral Home website. Hug your loved ones close.
