Help Donovan with Medical Bills

Donovan Lewis recently experienced two strokes. The first one occurred about 2 weeks ago and was minor so he did not recognize it as a stroke at the time. The second one occurred on July 23 and he lost the use of his left arm as a result. After going to the emergency room at Emory Decatur Hospital on Monday, July 24th, Donovan is still in the hospital and will likely be released from the hospital to rehabilitation.

The costs of the ER visit, diagnostic tests (multiple MRIs and CAT scans), hospital stay, rehabilitation, and continuing therapy will likely be more than $25,000. Donovan's medical insurance was canceled in error on July 1 and can't be re-instated until November 1, so the timing couldn't be worse -- Donovan's hospital and therapy bills will not be covered by insurance.
