Help Dorothy&Ryann cover their father's funeral

On Monday, Feb 6, 2023, our family suffered a tragedy when my brother, Kevin Vollmer, had a seizure behind the wheel of a rental truck and crashed into a tree. He did not survive the accident. Kevin had a history of seizures. They had increased in strength and occurrence in the past year so much so that he was unable to keep a full-time job. As such, his life insurance lapsed leaving his daughters, Dorothy (23) and Ryann (21) without the means to pay for funeral costs as well as unexpected costs that come with such a sudden loss of life.

I know it's a tough time for everyone right now. But I have to ask.

My nieces are in a spot that no one should ever be in--they are mourning the loss of their father while also trying to contend with funeral costs that will be just under $9,000 plus, they have to close up his apartment, his debts, as well as losing their own income while dealing with these issues. There is no money.

They are also young and I don't want them to have to fall into financial debt because of this unexpected, sudden loss of their father. One of my nieces is in full-time college and also works full-time to pay for that schooling. My other niece works full-time while she figures out life. They're good kids. And no one should have to be in this position.

And no one should have to ask. But here we are. And I'm asking.

Please, if you have anything, $20, $10, anything will help. If you can't give, then please share this message. Every single penny will go to covering the funeral costs and then the additional costs surrounding it.

It is a strange moment my family finds itself in. But we are pulling together to support my nieces as best we can.
