HELP Double Bilateral Below-the-knee Amputations

It's truly hard to ask for help but here we are.....

Hi, this is James Julius' mother Barbara Welker. James has been on a very long roller-coaster ride the last 8 months.

He has been through a battery of tests, as doctors try and figure out what has been happening to his feet.

We have spent most days in April going to and from doctors all over. He has had several Endivenous Ablation on his leg veins.

Specialists have finally concluded that he has Charcot Foot due to CIDP that have not and will not heal.

On Wednesday James had to make a life altering decision to undergo Below-the-Knee Amputation on both legs. They will be preformed one at a time. So his upcoming year will be full of challenges and frustration.

He will need a motorized chair able to handle the rocky terrain. We will also need to come up with a disability friendly place for him to live. There will be many miles (gas,food and hotels) we will need to make.

We are asking for any help you feel you can assist with. It all adds up no matter how small. Prayers for a quick and full recovery are greatly appreciated.
