Double Dragon Fire Repairs

Our Dear Family and Friends,
Let me begin by thanking you for your phone calls, texts and well wishes. For those of you who don’t know, last night, June 10th at 10:30pm the adjoining business to Double Dragon Martial Arts Academy caught fire. The fire was so severe that the fire department had to break our store front to gain access to the fire and defuse it. They also had to soak everything in water to ensure that a new fire doesn’t start up. After a few hours, the fire was extinguished and it was determined that it was caused by the café’s greasy range hood. Although the flames did not touch Double Dragon, the water used to put out the fire damaged our walls, ceiling, cameras, computers, furniture, electrical panels and just about everything. I just thank God that nobody was hurt! I am saddened to inform you that Double Dragon Martial Arts Academy will be closed for renovations. Our school has been instrumental in educating our students not just in martial arts but in teaching them the importance in centering their lives to God, family and country. We look forward to rebuilding our school and continue to help serve the families in our community. Please allow me to thank you in advance for your prayers and donations.
