Help Doug Hammer Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Kelly Hammer and I have created this fundraiser to help support my dad and our family as we fight through this difficult time. We are just beginning a long battle ahead, so any donation or sharing helps us tremendously.

On January 6th 2024, Doug Hammer was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which spread to his brain. Luckily, brain surgery to remove the tumor was successful, but we have a long fight ahead of us. He was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma of the lung and will begin chemo and radiation soon. We are just beginning this difficult fight and Doug can use all the help and support that he can get.

My mom, Lara Hammer, is still working to help pay the incoming medical bills, but still has to take time off to drive my dad to his many appointments. We are hoping that this fundraiser will help us to focus more on the fight against the cancer and less on the bills that come with it.
