Help Doug Huffmeyer with His Healing Journey

Donation protected
Doug Huffmeyer, a friend to many in and around the Napoleon community, had a stroke on December 11, 2024.
He was completely bedridden with no use of his right side until recently.

He is now able to walk and do some things on his own. However, he cannot speak and continues to do speech therapy. He is practicing his writing to try to communicate better.

He has a long way to go to full recovery, but because he is doing better, his insurance has stopped covering expenses, causing him to have to pay his rehab facility out of pocket. When he comes home in the near future, he will require someone to be with him 24/7 to help with his meds, meals, and transportation to appointments.

The Huffmeyer family is so thankful to the community for the support and prayers. Doug is a fighter and has been determined to do whatever he needs to do to get better.

He is known as the Gentle Giant by those at his rehab facility. So, in honor of this Gentle Giant, let's come together and support this wonderful family to help them with medical expenses.
