Help Dr. Helen Meloy Recover from Stroke
Donation protected
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support our mom, Dr. Helen Meloy, as she navigates one of the most challenging times in her life. In October, Helen suffered a devastating stroke that profoundly affected her cognitive and physical abilities. She can no longer live independently and is transitioning to assisted living.
Helen has spent her life uplifting others. As a college professor for 45 years, she inspired thousands of Cal State Northridge, UCSB, and Santa Barbara City College students. Beyond the classroom, she founded a non-profit to help formerly incarcerated individuals rebuild their lives, offering them tools for better communication, parenting, and hope for the future.
Now, it’s our turn to give back to Helen. Your donations will go toward:
• Medical bills and therapies essential for her recovery
• Assisted living costs to ensure she receives the care she needs
• Resources for emotional and mental well-being during her recovery
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Together, we can surround Helen with the love and support she so greatly deserves.
With love and gratitude,
Helen's children
