Help Dr. Oni Transform Orthopaedic Care
Donation protected
My name is Dr. Julius Oni, an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Director for Global Orthopaedics at Johns Hopkins. This July, I will be taking a leave of absence from Johns Hopkins to embark on a transformative journey aimed at addressing the healthcare disparities prevalent in Lower to Middle Income Countries (LMICs) starting with Nigeria.
Specifically, I will be starting a Joint Replacement Fellowship in Lagos Nigeria designed to annually train two surgeons, equipping them with the expertise required to provide top-notch care to Nigerians. The fellowship will be organized in collaboration with Operation Stand Walk Run (OSWR), a nonprofit organization that I co-founded.
We cordially invite you to join us in this noble cause. Your backing will directly fund vital expenses for our fellows, such as accommodation, salaries, and miscellaneous costs. Any surplus donations exceeding $100,000 will be allocated to providing medical care for underprivileged patients. By partnering with us, you play a pivotal role in our mission to significantly impact the lives of countless individuals in need.
A donation of $500 or more will help accelerate the achievement of our goal. Every contribution supports the fellowship and subsidizes care for those in need. As a valued supporter, you'll receive regular updates on our progress.
With your help, we can drive the transformation of musculoskeletal care in Nigeria and beyond.
