Support for the Neff Family

Our family began this fundraising effort to support our long-time family friend, Dr Neff, beat pancreatic cancer. The Lord sent Dr. Neff into our lives at a time of dire need. In the autumn of 2012, my father, Alex, sustained a back injury that severely debilitated him. My family and I watched hopelessly as the strong rock in our lives, became bed-ridden and his body was wracked with severe pain. When Dr. Neff was informed about my father’s condition, he immediately referred us to NUCCA chiropractor Dr. Craig Lapenski. Within a few weeks of receiving chiropractic care at the hands of Dr. Lapenski, my father was back on his feet and able to go to work again. Through this introduction to NUCCA, my family, numerous friends and relatives have found miraculous healing from a variety of medical conditions. We are overwhelmingly grateful to Dr. Neff for giving Dad hope and a new lease on life! This campaign is our small effort to repay Dr. Neff for all he means to us. Dr. Neff has given his life to serve others. He has made it his life mission to help people find hope and healing through chiropractic care at his small-town NUCCA clinic. Now it is our turn to help him.

On March 15, 2020, Dr. Neff was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is being treated at Forsyth Cancer Clinic and at Bio Integrative Health Center in Reno, Nevada, by a team of medical homeopathic oncologists. Leading up to and after diagnosis, Dr. Neff gradually lost energy and did not have the physical strength to continue treating patients in his family practice. Consequently, he has not had sufficient income to cover the cost of treatment. Although he has applied for Medicare, limited coverage will not begin until July of 2020, and won’t apply to alternative treatments. It has been a stiff challenge for his family to provide the funds to give Dr. Neff the care he so desperately needs. Your generous donations will provide coverage for treatment, transportation, lodging, and daily living expenses for Dr. and Mrs. Neff as they seek healing and restored health.

Beginning in May, treatment has amounted to over $25,000, not including related travel and basic living expenses for the weeks spent out-of-state. So far, treatment has been successful, and Dr. Neff has been gaining back energy and appetite. Pain and soreness have been alleviated and he has been able to work a few hours in his practice. Should all go well, future care will include several more trips to Nevada,within the next three months, for three more rounds of directed chemotherapy and immune system rebuild treatment. But in order to make this happen, he will need over $30,000 in funds. All told, expenses incurred are estimated to be well over $48,000. We would like to do all we can to alleviate the financial burden placed on the Neff family so they can focus on caring for and spending time with Dr. Neff.
