Help Dr. Sedor Beat Breast Cancer

Donation protected
As we all know, Dr. Jennifer Sedor is class personified. One of the most empathetic, thoughtful, loving & caring souls that you could ever have the pleasure of meeting.  From a very early age to present day, she has dedicated her life to helping others.  As an Emergency Doctor, she goes to work and saves lives every single day.  She is a real life superhero yet doesn't expect any "Thank you's" but is instead content to know she has hopefully made someone’s life better that day. Jennifer has always gone above & beyond to ensure the safety & well being of her patient.  She treats all of her them with genuine love and kindness, never showing any prejudice or bias.  She has made it her life’s work to be strength for people on what is likely their worst days. On July 16th, 2020, unfortunately, the Doctor became the patient. Jennifer was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, a severe form of Breast Cancer.  Immediate action was necessary in order to remove the cancerous cells before they divided further and spread all over her body.  Her focus shifted from taking care of everyone else during the Covid-19 pandemic as a frontline worker to being forced to let everyone else take care of her.  As you can imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult transition in the midst of an incredibly difficult time. On August 20th, Jennifer underwent a major surgery comprised of a Bilateral Mastectomy & Complete Reconstruction with Lymph Node Removal. She is forced to take a couple of months off so that her body can recover from the surgeries she recently endured.  Next, she will have a surgical port placement procedure in order to begin the chemotherapy treatment: all in hopes of killing the cancerous cells from her body once and for all. As we all know, healthcare is extremely expensive. Between multiple surgeries, hormonal medications, Fertility preservation treatment, egg harvesting procedures, etc. the bills have unfortunately added up quickly even after insurance and what is denied by insurance.   Jennifer is the sole provider for her family, a young physician paying back massive student loans and is the mother of a small child.  Most young physicians struggle under the burden of this debt despite years of studying and hard work. This life altering event has understandably put her under considerable financial stress and we (her friends and family) are asking you for your help. This fundraiser has been established to help ease the burden on Jennifer and her family, so that she can focus all of her efforts on her treatment & healing. Anyone who knows Jennifer can attest to the fact that she is incredibly giving when it comes to her time, love, energy & finances.  Those of us who know Jennifer are aware that she would never pro-actively ask for anything from anyone. Isn't it time that we help the one person who has devoted her entire life to saving ours?  If we can help alleviate some of the day to day financial pressures that will mount during this time of critical care, we too have done our part to save her life. #HelpDrSedorBeatBreastCancer  https://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/with-mounting-student-debt-and-medical-costs-south-florida-doctor-battles-breast-cancer-during-pandemic/2303663/ #HelpDrSedorBeatBreastCancer
