Help Drea and Nehla Rebuild After Fire
Donation protected
Hello friends,
It absolutely breaks my heart to write this, but life sometimes brings us moments that call for the support of the community! Our bookkeeper, Drea, is not just a bookkeeper; she's a single mom, a beacon of kindness, and one of the most honest, hardworking, and generous souls I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She's become a trusted friend and an incredible person who has brightened her clients' and friends' lives, including ours.
Unfortunately, Drea and her daughter, Nehla, just lost their home in the Altadena fire. All their belongings, their sense of stability have been lost, save for a few personal items and the guitar (that's me in the picture with her and the guitar) I had the privilege of gifting to Nehla.
Together with my amazing wife Eden from Sugar and Charm and our equally amazing friend Ashley from Sugar and Cloth, we've set up this fundraiser to help Drea and Nehla start to rebuild their lives. We're not aiming to make them rich...just to help them stand on solid ground again, to give them a little hope amidst the ashes.
Every little bit makes a difference, and your kindness will ripple far beyond this moment.
To all those affected by these fires, we're sending warm thoughts, prayers, and love your way. And to you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to lend your support.
With gratitude and love,
Zan, Eden, and Ashley
PS
I'm Zan Passante, a Los Angeles-based writer/producer at WBD and while we're only a few miles from the Hurst Fire ourselves, we've been lucky enough to have the wind keep it away from us for now. We're setting this up for them to help pay for new clothes, personal belongings and to ease the financial stress while they put their life back together. (this is for GoFundMe asking to explain the context of this, thank you).
