Help Drea Through her Surgery Recovery

Hello Everyone, I am starting this campaign on behalf of my sister Andrea Popelka. I know she is the last person to request help herself, but she just recently went through Spinal Surgery for Spondylolisthesis. Andrea has experienced migraines since she was in High School. It's something as a young kid being 6 years her junior I would notice but at the time being younger, I probably didn't really care too much about.

Starting in December, Andrea was experiencing what she thought were migraines and although she was taking her migraine medication it wasn't helping. So she went to see her doctor in January 2020 and after going through CT Scans and MRI's her doctor found out that the migraines she was having were Cervicogenic Headaches. Those headaches were being caused by Cervical Degenerative Disc Disease. 

Obviously, we all know life has it's ups and downs. At the same time, Andrea found this out, she was also in the process of securing a new employment opportunity. Andrea came to the realization that she was now looking at surgery and recovery time and would need to put that aside to heal herself.  Andrea's immediately family, her husband Matt and my niece and nephew are troopers themselves and have been very helpful. I am writing this at a crazy time in everyone's lives and I'm aware we are all going through struggles, but if you can, I would like to ask for help for my sister. We hope to start small and end big. We're using any funds earned to help with expenses for her recovery and we're hoping to be able to put those funds to use immediately.

Andrea will be going through a recovery time of 2-3 months. She will be going through post-op care and we will be posting videos and I've added clickable links for more detail on what type of surgery Andrea has experienced.

I would also like to add some words from Matt Popelka, my sister's husband:

"My wife is the most loving caring person I have ever known. She always goes out of her way to help others and gives her time to making other people better. She has given so much to the community, her family and to me her husband. She has the biggest heart and loves unconditionally."

My daughter-in-law Andrea is the most kind, loving, caring person you could ever have the pleasure to know. She has helped so many of us in so many different ways and now is an opportunity for us to return some of that kindness and love. She is in need of help while she is out of work and recovering from this surgery. It’s going to be a long road for her, but she is a strong woman.
