Help during Bryson's recovery
I am the great-aunt of Bryson Sorrow and this fundraiser is to help Bryson's family while he recovers from a tragic accident that occurred on July 3, 2021 in Hartwell, GA. All money raised will be received directly by Bryson's parents, Justin and Megan.
Bryson is a brilliant and active 11 year-old. He is the twin to his brother Braxton and he is also the loving and protective big brother to little sister Bailynn.
Dirt track racing has always been a passion and family affair for Bryson and his family and this was the setting for the tragic accident that has left Bryson in ICU in a Greenville children's hospital. A stray race car in the pit area of a race at Hartwell Motor Speedway hit Bryson, his uncle, and teenage cousin. Tragically, Bryson's uncle succumbed to his injuries. We are so grateful that Bryson and his cousin have survived this accident, but both have suffered severe injuries. Bryson has a broken arm, broken ribs, and as of this writing, a possible liver laceration.
THE GREATEST NEED FOR BRYSON AND HIS FAMILY IS YOUR PRAYERS. If you are unable to give financially, please know that your thoughts and prayers will sustain them as they go through the days ahead. Bryson and his family live more than 80 miles from the children's hospital and financial donations will be used for temporary housing, meals, and travel expenses while he is hospitalized and for unforeseen expenses that arise once he is able to return home.
