Help During Rhonda's Cancer Treatment

Rhonda Cook is a much-loved Wellness team member at NorthBay. She has always gone above and beyond what is asked of her. Giving and caring, purchasing snacks for students and staff, decorations for the Wellness Center, assisting anyone she can. At home she takes care of her special needs adult daughter.

Now she needs our help. Last Fall, Rhonda was diagnosed with cancer - the second time in a few short years. She worked as long and as hard as her body allowed. Then with the doctor’s direction, she has taken a leave of absence from work, which started in February. It is now May and she has used all of her paid time off including time donated from co-workers.

Her chemo is scheduled weekly through June. Afterwards she will need radiation in July and August. That is a total of six months being out of work. Can you imagine going without an income for six or more months? That is why we are putting this GoFundMe together for her. Every doctor appointment, every lab test, every treatment, she has to pay an out-of-pocket copay. This is in addition to her monthly living expenses. While she has met her annual out-of-pocket for insurance, you can imagine the hit this has put on her finances. Please contribute what you can to help our coworker and friend, Rhonda. All donations will be used to provide for Rhonda’s everyday living expenses and catch-up on her medical expenses.
