On the morning of May 13, 2024, Dylan (Gilmore) and Cory Dutkiewicz' world shattered when they found their one-year-old daughter, Maddie, unresponsive. Despite frantic efforts and the swift response of paramedics, little Maddie was rushed to Lurie Children's Hospital. The dedicated medical staff fought tirelessly, but despite their valiant efforts and countless prayers, God called Maddox Nicole Dutkiewicz home on May 18, 2024.

Dylan, alongside her husband Cory Dutkiewicz, a devoted member of the US Navy for 13 years, stationed in Chicago, is grappling with the unimaginable pain of losing their beloved daughter. Their family, which also includes four other children, is facing an indescribable loss. Adding to the complexity of their situation, Cory recently received orders for a transfer to Jacksonville in the coming months, adding to the family's upheaval during this already devastating time.

Despite the heartbreak of losing Maddie, the Dutkiewicz family has made the courageous decision to honor her memory by donating her heart, liver, and kidneys, giving the gift of life to those in need. Maddie’s legacy will live on, and other families will now be blessed through their tragedy.
