Help Dymock Cricket Club Purchase Practice Nets
Donation protected
Dymock Cricket Club was formed in 1865 and is one of the oldest clubs in Gloucestershire, but we believe we have an exciting future.
Over the last few years, the club has come on leaps and bounds, with the development of a new clubhouse in 2016. In addition, the club has a thriving junior section with children from all age categories regularly coming to practice nights on a Friday in the summer and playing games throughout the week.
We are now looking to develop the club further with the introduction of practice nets. As a club, we believe that having the facilities for children and adults to train in is essential for the continued development of the club and the local community. Nets would give players of all ages a safe place to train and develop skills whilst also allowing more effective coaching methods to be implemented.
Furthermore, in the coming years, the club is looking towards the creation of a women's team along with the expansion of the junior section. Nets would allow the club to grow sustainably in terms of numbers as it provides additional safe space to practice whilst also allowing for effective training on suitable surfaces.
Having good training facilities is essential to the future of this cricket club, and it's members, and we hope you can support us in achieving our goals.
