Help Dyson Miranda Fight Cancer

Dyson John Novo Miranda is a 24-year-old, born and raised resident of Dighton, Massachusetts. Dyson is a 2018 graduate of DR High School, where he specialized in Auto Technology. He made the honorable decision to voluntarily enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Dyson graduated top of his class for Diesel Mechanics on February 1st, 2019, stationed out of New Haven, CT. He served our country proudly until 2023 when he was discharged for non-compliance with the mandatory COVID vaccination. The military's COVID vaccine mandate has left Dyson without any military compensation or veteran benefits.

In the early part of 2022, Dyson was diagnosed with testicular cancer that metastasized to his major organs. He has had a stem cell transplant accompanied by extremely high doses of chemotherapy. Doctors at this point have said Dyson has exhausted every option medically. His only options now, which could be the life-changing prayers he is praying for, are holistic care/medicine.

Holistic care is unfortunately not only costly, it isn't covered under insurance. Dyson has had one appointment up to date, which alone was over $1,300. He has many more appointments needed to further his holistic care journey. Dyson is the true definition of an American patriot who not only loves, served, and honored his country, he excelled in one of the military's highest level of branches. He loves life just as much. Dyson loves anything with an engine. He is an avid dirt bike rider who has a love of all outdoor things. Dyson is the beloved son and only child of Joseph Miranda and Donna Novo. He is a grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Dyson has not only the love and support of his mother and father, who have and will continue to fight this battle alongside him but his family standing right behind him ready to battle this with him.

In closing, times are undeniably tough right now in the world. Life is just plain hard all around. Anything that could be donated, contributed, or any help that could be offered to Dyson to further his holistic treatment, along with prayers, good vibes, and positive energy, are the blessings Dyson and his family are seeking.
