Help E3 Fitness Rebuild

Donation protected

At 9:55A.M. on Thursday, July 27, 2023 a driver traveling South on West Main Street in Salem, Virginia suffered a medical emergency, veered off of the main road and drove through the E3 Salem building, only being stopped by the pull-up rig.

We are so grateful that the driver was able to walk away nearly by his own power. Thankfully, Jay Ezelle (owner), had exited the building 5 minutes prior and no one else was in the building.

Jay & Joy Ezelle (the owners) have poured their hearts and souls into making E3 Fitness a place for everyone including a one-of-a kind-program in our area tailored to individuals with special needs. They work tirelessly supporting our community even outside of the fitness world. Now, they could use that same kind of support.

If you don't know Jay & Joy, here are just a few examples to describe the impact they have had on people's lives:

"The gym community was so welcoming and encouraging. It is obvious that Jay and Joy truly care about the wellbeing of every single one of their members."

"This is both a gym and a second home. E3 is truly for everyone, everyday, and there every moment!"

"E3 is a gym, and a community. If you miss a class, they check in on you. If you need something, they help you. Along with that they push you every class to do better, be better, and reach your goals and potential. They are an amazing gym and worth every bit of time spent there!"

"Joy worked really well with my brother whom has disabilities. Look forward to seeing how she gets him back to moving around without thinking too much about his cerebral palsy."

"Love, love, love Joy and Jay’s E3 fitness program! As a Mom to a teenage son who has autism and diverse special needs it can be difficult to find meaningful and goal results oriented programs . Our family is so grateful to have found Joy and her 1:1 workout program designed especially for those with special needs."

"Jay & Joy are two of the most loving and encouraging people I’ve ever had the opportunity to do life with."

The building was deemed structurally unsafe by a local fire marshall and a tremendous amount of work lies ahead to rebuild. Please consider sharing this GoFundMe fundraiser far and wide and making a contribution to help them rebuild.

We. Are. E3.
We will rebuild, better.
