Help E&L Supermarket and Deli on Lowry Ave

E&L Supermarket and Deli is a small business owned by Adil Albosaad that operates at 1122 Lowry Ave N in Minneapolis. On May 29, 2020, E&L Supermarket and Deli sustained a significant amount of damage during the riots and protests that are happening as a result of the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. E&L Supermarket and Deli is a small business that supports the community and neighborhood on Lowry Ave and now they are in need of our support.

I am from Minneapolis and live right across the street from the supermarket. My mom and I are frequent patrons of E&L and speak with the owner and those who work there often; they are always so kind and compassionate, and they love the Lowry community so much. 

On May 29, the windows of the market were shattered and huge amounts of merchandise were stolen. All of the money raised by this fundraiser will go directly to the owners of E&L Supermarket and Deli in an effort to help them rebuild and recover from the damage caused by the riots in May. It will be withdrawn when a significant amount is raised or when the goal of the campaign is met and I will personally deliver a check with the full amount to Mr. Albosaad.  

This is something we as a community can do for a small business that has supported us for such a long time.
