Help Ease Angela's End of Life Journey

Hello everyone,

My name is Secilia Reyes, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart. My mother, Angela Pacheco, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on March 9th. Her original plan was to undergo chemo and immunotherapy, but on April 6th she was life flighted to St. Francis in Peoria to have an emergency heart surgery due to excessive fluid building around her heart. With her cancer spreading at a very rapid rate, chemotherapy would do more harm than good. On April 17th my mother came home on hospice care. Today we received the heartbreaking news that her journey is nearing its end. It is estimated she only has 7-10 days left in her, and she has been placed under the compassionate care of VIP Hospice.

We are seeking to raise $10,000 to cover the extensive medical expenses, cremation and end of life services, and to ensure that her final days are spent in peace, free from financial worry. Additionally, part of the funds will be used to keep her beloved home in the family, preserving her legacy and the memories we've built there.

She would give her last piece of food, her shoes, clothes, money, and a place to stay. Her kindness has touched the lives of countless people, often extending a helping hand without a moment’s hesitation. She has been a pillar of strength and compassion in our community, always putting others before herself.
