Help Ease Megan's Medical Financial Burden

Megan was brought into my life by fate (my ex). While co-parenting with my ex, my daughters kept mentioning this new Megan person. Our first couple of conversations turned into very long talks, and the more I spoke to this lady, the more I knew I really liked her. She’s honest and genuine, and has the absolute biggest heart. What I didn’t expect is how “motherly” she would be to my children. I think it’s unique to have a woman treat another women’s kids JUST as if they are her own biological children. My ex kindly married her so that she could officially become my “baby mama.” (Thanks, Ian!)

Unfortunately, this love story includes some recent horrific news. Megan was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, by mere accident. It was determined that the best option was for her to undergo a double mastectomy. During her procedure on May 1st, her doctor stumbled upon more cancer in her underarm lymph nodes. Although the initial diagnoses was scary, we all thought this surgery would be the end, along with some possible minor treatments. This was our worst nightmare.

Megan’s insurance is not covering all of her medical expenses, and she’s already out-of-pocket thousands of dollars. Now that she’s facing far more than anticipated, I’m asking for donations to give her, at the very least, less worries regarding finances so that she can focus solely on her treatment and recovery. Any amount, no matter how big or small, will help lessen the burden. I’m also asking for lots of prayers on her road to recovery.
