Help Ease the Atkins Family's Burden

Donation protected
On Sunday May 19, 2024 Debra (Debbie) and Jim Aktins received the call no parent would ever want to receive; call saying "your son has been in a motorcycle accident". At 11:47am James was stuck by a Toyota and ejected from his bike. Paramedics treated him at the scene until he was airlifted to Mercy hospital. Shortly after arrival James Aktins 33 years of age had succumbed to his injuries. James had a heart of GOLD and infectious smile, to know him is to forever love him. He spent his days working with his cousin Adam at AP Electric and evening riding his Harley Davidson. You could find him at anytime with Mike or Nuts enjoying endless laughs and drinking a few Budweiser. James loved his dog Zeus, enjoyed sports and working on cars with his Uncle Tommy. James leaves behind his sister Jennifer (Jenny) and many others who loved and cared about him.

Many young adults just like James are not thinking of tomorrow because it's always a tomorrow and he did not have insurance to cover his life. So with a heavily and humble heart the family is reaching out asking for support with memorial arrangements and support due to loss wages during their grieving and mourning. This will help lift the burned of the financial loss. The loss of a child is the most devastating tragedy a parent can experience. Bring a child into the world is an extension of who you are and the loss of that child regardless of the age, creates a void that can never be filled.

The Aktins Family would like to express their gratitude in advance for any assistance, and asking to please keep them in your prayers.

Psalms 34
The LORD is closed to the broken hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.
For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!
Calamity will surely destroy the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished.
But the LORD will redeem those who serve HIM.
No one who takes refuges in him will be condemned.

Lastly we understand that everyone is not always in a position to give but you can share/pass the word.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday June 8, 2024 from 2pm to 6pm
