Help Ease the Burden for Catherine's Family

Dear friends/family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the unexpected passing of my mom, Catherine Gibcke on May 24th. She was an example of love and perseverance facing her battle with breast cancer for the second time with unwavering courage and determination. Despite her recovery efforts, complications arose from her most recent surgery on May 22nd, leaving us all in shock and disbelief.

In the wake of this profound loss, Catherine's family and close friends are navigating through waves of grief, trying to come to terms with the suddenness of her departure. Her husband of 46 years, Jerry, is bravely confronting each day, supported by the love of their church community and his men's bible study group. Amidst his own daily cancer radiation treatments, Jerry continues to embody strength and faith, but he now faces the daunting task of saying goodbye to his beloved wife.

While we cannot change the past, we are reaching out to you, our extended family and close friends, for support during this difficult time. We are humbly asking for your generosity to assist in covering Catherine's final expenses and also to facilitate a gathering for her family to bid her a proper farewell alongside Jerry.
