Hello everyone! I am Dustin Deiters. Teresa Weaver began working for me at the beginning of 2020, and shortly after, her husband Bob joined our team as well.

Life can be unfair at times, especially when cancer is involved. There isn’t anything much worse than having to watch someone you care about in such pain and there being little to nothing you can do to make it better for them. This is the first time that I have witnessed someone in my day-to-day life battle cancer. Less than 3 months ago, Teresa was fine, working full-time painting houses, being a mother to her 15-year-old daughter Hailey and son Christopher, a wife to Bob, and a friend to so many of us. And then just yesterday, May 24, 2024, she lost her battle against cancer. It was an extremely quick and unfair fight. Her biopsy, which was no more than 3 weeks ago, came back diagnosing her with Stage 4 cancer in the Pancreas and the Liver. The initial plan was to have surgery that next week then to be followed up with chemotherapy and radiation. However, when they went in for the surgery, the cancer was growing so rapidly and had spread all throughout her body, she was determined terminal and then 2 weeks later was in the hospice center in the final hours of her life until yesterday when she took her last breath.

Teresa Weaver was a loving and caring mother to her daughter Hailey and her son Christopher. She experienced life as a teenage mother, having Chris at the young age of 15 and then was blessed later in life as a mature woman when she gave birth to Hailey when she was in her 40s. She loved them both more than words can describe. She spent most of her life with her husband and father to Hailey, Bob Johnson whom she loved unconditionally! Bob spent the last 30 years listening to her demands and their love was certainly one of a kind to say the least but through it all they stayed together. Bob will and already does miss her deeply. She recently was able to enjoy watching Bob walk his older daughter down the aisle. She always spoke so highly of both of Bob's daughters. From the stories Teresa would tell about her sister, you could definitely tell they had a very special bond up until her sister’s untimely death several years ago. Teresa leaves behind a mother that she visited often and cared for as much as her life would allow. Christopher also made her a grandmother 3 times with the most recent being born 8/8/23. Her niece Nicole leads a long list of extended family. She and Nicole had a strong loving and respectful bond that Nicole will forever cherish. Even though each person listed may not have seen or talked to her everyday, Teresa carried their love with her all of the time.

Ever since Teresa started working for me at Inside Out Painting, she and I laughed together, cried together and we talked about everything. Being the only female on our team, she was my “go to” person when I needed advice from a woman’s perspective. She was there for me through some of my darkest times and that I will never forget and will forever be grateful for.

Giving only a short time to prepare for this has put a lot of stress and pressure on the ones closest to her. She would want them to not feel any burden from her illness. She will never see Hailey graduate high school, or watch Bob walk her down the aisle at her wedding. It is hard for them now and it will be hard for them when those days come. Please assist me in making these days a little less stressful for Bob, Chris and Hailey and donate to her life ending celebration. Send pictures for them to have to look at and smile in her memory. Cancer has taken her life that had so much more to do in this world. It is unfair that she will not see her grandchildren grow but we can make it a little less unfair for those closest to her with help with the funeral cost and relieving them some of that added stress that comes with such a painful and untimely loss. We thank you so much for your help! Teresa Weaver, gone but never forgotten.
