Love and Support needed for Rain and Blue
Donation protected
Kimberly Fawn Brasher, was a devoted mother, a darling daughter, a follower of Christ, and a steadfast friend. She was a radiant beam of unconditional love in the lives of all who knew her.
Now is the time for us all to offer support to Kim’s children, Rain and Blue.
You may have known Kim from the Kerrville Folk Festival where she volunteered for over 30 years or from her activism and service at the Omni Center for Peace and Justice. You may have sat with Kim in one of her Centering Prayer Groups where she inspired and encouraged our spiritual lives. You may have known Kim’s enormous love for children and youth through her top notch playschool, Edge of the Woods. You may have met Kim in one of her yoga classes or a writing group. And it is likely she may have beaten you at a game of chess.
Kim continually strived to better herself and inspire others. She was an inclusive community cheerleader and was always ready to stand up against injustice. Kim believed in a world that works for everyone; she was a true inspiration.
Kim was a friend that you could call anytime; she was continually ready to offer a helping hand. She was the woman who appeared with her famous blueberry crisp when you had experienced a loss. Kim knew to show up to play with your older children when you had a new baby in the house and needed a nap. Kim always did the dishes in your sink before she left because she understood what it took to be a single mother. She was the epitome of thoughtfulness.
She was always ready to go on an adventure with friends and family. Kim found a way to make each interaction fun and inspiring. She led a life of service and relationship. Kim maintained friendships all over the world. If you were lucky enough to have crossed paths with Kim, you were forever her friend.
On June 8th 2024, after watching her beloved son perform at the Kerrville Folk Festival, we lost our precious Kim when she was killed by a drunk driver. She leaves behind her son, Rain, and her daughter, Blue.
All donations will support her children as they grieve the loss of their phenomenal mother. Let’s shower Rain and Blue in love and prayers. Please help her children feel the unconditional love and devotion that we all felt from Kim in our lives.
Thank you so much community!
With gratitude,
Amelia Cox
