Help ease the financial burden on Rylee and her family.

Hey, everyone. My name is Jusdan and I am starting an account for Rylee, my wife. She is the most incredible person that I have ever met. She is so selfless, caring, and kind, and everything she does is for the benefit of her family. In fact, she has provided a majority of the income for our family while I attended law school.
About four weeks ago, Rylee got sick. She started to have trouble breathing and she was unable to walk even a few steps without getting winded. She went to a doctor and was diagnosed with bronchitis. She was prescribed steroids and sent home. She finished the steroids, but did not get any better. She went back to the doctor and was told that she had pneumonia. She was prescribed antibiotics and sent home. She finished the antibiotics, but still did not get any better. She then went to her primary care physician. He told her that she may have a pulmonary embolism and that she needed to go to an ER to have a CT scan done. We went to the nearest ER, where she was diagnosed with heart failure. She was admitted on May 25. Despite her medical team's best efforts, the exact cause of her heart failure remained unknown. On May 31, Rylee went into v-fib and coded for 15 minutes. She was revived, intubated, and sent to the ICU. In the ICU, we were told that Rylee required a transfer to UC San Diego's cardiology department for more complete care. As of right now, she has been accepted at UC San Diego, but we are waiting for a bed to open up. As soon as a bed opens up, Rylee and I will be transported to the hospital. We are currently uncertain about what the future holds. With proper treatment, Rylee may end up getting better or she may end up needing a heart transplant.
Update:
06/07/2024
Rylee has been transferred to UC San Diego's cardiovascular center. There is still a lot of unknowns about her condition and outlook, but we are confident that the treatment that she will receive here will give her the best chance to get back to her old self!

Rylee is scheduled to have a defibrillator put in this week! She is fighting hard!
No donation is expected and any prayers are greatly appreciated. However, any and all donations will be used to pay bills, help us keep our home, and pay Rylee's medical bills. Thank you so much for all of your continued support as Rylee fights hard!
