Help Ease Valerie's Burden After Loss

I’m raising funds for my sister, Valerie, who lost her only son, Gabriel, to his long-lasting struggle with depression on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Valerie is a strong and independent single mother who has always worked hard to ensure her children have everything they need to live a happy and successful life. Heartbreakingly, her overwhelming love and support could not save Gabriel from the pain he was facing, and my sister is just approaching the realization of the monetary costs that are coupled (and that she will continue to face) with losing a loved one. She’s persevering, but all of her remaining strength is being put toward being the best mother to her daughter and her personal healing. I’m hoping to lighten the monetary load that is sure to follow this stage of grief.
