Help East Tennessee Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hello, My name is Calen Archer and I am a lifelong resident of East Tennessee.

In East Tennessee, we have a very temperate climate with VERY, VERY few catastrophic events. Hurricane Helene has unleashed devastation the likes of which have never been seen in our area. Given that our area is mostly middle/low income, the people of the Tri-Cities are completely unprepared for a disaster such as this. In addition, the vast majority of homeowners do not carry flood insurance.

The areas of Unicoi County, Greene County, Carter County, Jonesborough, Johnson County, and Hawkins County have been completely decimated - resembling what you see in the linked video.

I am creating this fundraiser because countless tens of thousands of families have had their entire lives uprooted with no way to recover.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your contributions, large and small. Your donations will be going to the municipalities in which the destruction has been done, and dispersed among those affected.

According to the non-profits I am working with in the area, the needs of the community appear to be clothing, housing, and supplies such as propane to heat their living area.

I will be distributing these funds to these non-profits by October 15th - again, thank you all for you generosity in these most desperate times.
