Help Ed Ware & Family

First and foremost, we are asking for your prayers for our dear friend Edward A. Ware and for his family. Ed is an amazing father, a good friend to all and has been a successful Katy/Fulshear area Realtor® / Broker Associate in our community for over 15+ years. 

On the evening of Friday the 30th, Ed and his young son Hayden were enjoying a final bow hunt opportunity of the year at their deer lease up in Jewett, Texas.  It was there when Ed was exiting the deer stand that the access ladder to this blind snapped sending Ed falling about 2+ stories to the ground... face first.

Ed's young son, Hayden, was the only other person there at the lease, So, when Hayden reached his father, he found him bleeding and completely unresponsive. Through the grace of GOD, Hayden was able to call and get through to 911 services from the deer lease which usually has minimal signal on a good day. From this call, 911 services was able to triangulate their location and was able to get ambulances on scene. From there, they decided to Life Flight Ed to Waco's Baylor Scott & White Medical Center.

Once the doctors at the medical center were able to get an initial look at Ed, they determined that he had a Subdural Hematoma, a Brain Bleed, 9 Facial Fractures and a right Femoral Fracture. The doctors continue to be optimistic, but this is a situation that is still far from over. 

Ed and his family are going to need our support and prayers for a good time to come. Unfortunately, this type of accident is also going to generate a massive amount of medical bills and quite a bit of recovery time is going to be needed for Ed. 

This is where I am asking for all of our friends and family as well as our community to please help in coming together to support this family. Any amount you can spare will be truly appreciated and will help this family get thru what is going to be a very tough time.
