Help Eddie and Lisa in a time of need

Two months ago I had dinner with my uncle Eddie. He said that his arm was hurting and thought that he had sprained his neck. A couple of weeks ago, he was admitted to the ER and found out he had a brain tumor sized of an egg preventing him from seeing, talking, and restricting movement with his arm. He had a further body scan and the doctors found an additional tumor in his chest which is now confirmed to be stage 4 lung cancer. Uncle Eddie went through open brain surgery 2 weeks ago and luckily it was successful. Today, and for the next 3 months, he will be going through chemo therapy. Lisa, his wife and my dear friend, is hanging on.  She’s currently super woman driving Eddie to all his Chemo appointments and taking care of him all day. ( and not being able to work) The bills are adding up and starting to catch up to them.  If you’ve ever been to Kufuya and have had a drink with Lisa or Eddie, please help. They are some of the most caring, loving and genuine people I know.  Every little bit is appreciated. Thank you!


I’m Cici from s.f. and I’m setting this account on Lisa and Eddie’s behalf. I’ve known Eddie since I was very young and call him my uncle Eddie. Lisa has been my good friend now for over 10 years. The funds will help with Eddie’s medical bills, household bills, their mortgage, since they are both not working currently.
