Help Eddie During His Recovery

Dear Friends, Family and Kind Strangers,

My name is Rosario and I'm reaching out to you today on behalf of someone very dear to all of us, Eddie. He is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life – a liver transplant.

Due to a recently discovered genetic precondition, Eddie has been told by his doctors that a liver transplant is his only option for survival. We are fortunate to have a close friend who has stepped up and offered to be a living donor for Eddie, and he is a match. Nonetheless, the road ahead is still daunting.

As Eddie embarks on this journey, he will be unable to work for at least a year. This means no income to contribute to the family’s living expenses and the myriad of ongoing costs associated with his post-transplant recovery.

Adding to the complexity of his situation, Eddie and his wife have a child to care for. While his wife has a full-time job, the recent closure of Eddie’s restaurant due to the ongoing challenges in the hospitality industry has left them in a precarious financial situation.

This is where we, their community, come in. We have the power to alleviate some of the burdens Eddie and his family are facing during this incredibly difficult time.
