Help Eddie get his MRI
Donation protected
This is our Eddie Boy. He’s the sweetest, biggest and goodest boy there is.
When Eddie turned one, he started having seizures. We’ve done many 2 a.m. hospital runs and have visited the vet more times than I can count.
It breaks my heart at how torturous these seizures are for Eddie. He has small seizures which he can bounce back from. And then, there are the BIG grand mal seizures. These are brutal. The Eddie we know and love disappears. His entire body goes into convulsions and he loses all control of his body, his bodily functions and these seizures are very difficult for Eddie to recover from.
Tonight, Eddie had two grand mal seizures, back to back. It’s been an hour since they happened and he’s still not recovered. He can’t keep his balance, he walks into the walls and he’s very scared. He doesn’t recognize us or his home.
Ryan and I just don’t know what to do anymore. Eddie takes 14 pills a day to try and help manage his seizures. We’ve spent about $4,000 on hospital and vet visits. We also have to budget for about $160 a month for his medication.
At this point, the only option we have to help Eddie is to get an MRI. As you can imagine, MRIs are expensive. The quote we received was $3500.
With everything that has happened this year with Eddie and a few other major expenses that happened, we just don’t have the money.
I know this is the worst time to ask, with Christmas around the corner, but any contribution would be so deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donations, prayers and good vibes being sent our way. We love and appreciate you all.
