Lend a Hand, Help Eddie Get Back on His Feet

It is disheartening to know that in the USA, someone is charged guilty until proven innocent. Eddie's ex-roommate stole his clothes, among other things, and illegally placed a lock on Eddie's room in his own house to keep him out. The ex-roomate had moved out a few days before, after not paying rent for a month. As the lease holder and paying tenant, Eddie legally had the right to enter his home during the incident. Eddie attempted to enter his bedroom but was locked out.

An illegally set up security was camera in the room. The police were called when he was seen breaking the lock that was put on his bedroom door.

As a result, Eddie was accused of breaking into his own home and arrested. After five days in jail, a good friend bailed him out. Police are unwilling to help remedy the injustice, refusing to hear Eddie's side. Eddie was given notice to move out.

The funds will help cover legal fees to seek legal counsel, find a new place to stay, and achieve appropriate justice... or, as Eddie says, "JUST US."

Eddie is not much of an asker, so his friends are organizing this fundraiser under his name. We genuinely believe that even the smallest act of kindness can have a significant impact beyond what you can witness. Thank you.
