Save the Last Rhinos
Tax deductible
The African Northern White Rhino is extinct.
Three rhinos will be killed today in South Africa, home to 80% of the worlds remaining rhino population.
Everyday, their numbers diminish.
Enter EDGE: Formed to find a solution to protect the remaining and critically endangered rhino and support those who stand against poachers. EDGE is the latest evolution in Rhino protection -- an ambitious, innovative and aggressive approach to turning the tide in the fight. To saving the calf, the mother, the bull; to best prepare those who have given their lives to stand between the Rhino and the Poacher.
In two months we begin an ambitious plan to work on both sides of reserve fences to protect the animals that remain -- including lion and elephant, which are being poached daily.
WE HAVE BEEN OFFERED A $50,000.00 GRANT to match this campaign to expand a Ranger K9 program and community effort. These are real and radical solutions that will make a difference.
We can do this. You can help.
Your donation will:
-Support a canine program to stop poachers and protect rangers
-Provide gear and training to the rangers on the front lines
-Help prevent youth from being recruited to poach by education, photography and wellness programs
-Support first aid and a research campaign in impoverished hotspots
If you donate at least $25:
-You could win an iPad
-You could win a skype call with actors Bethany Joy Lenz, Khandyse McClure or Elias Toufexis!
If you donate at least $100:
-You could win a trip with us to tour our conservation sights in Africa!
Every day, rhinos have their faces hacked off.
Every day, rhino fetuses are cut from the mother's womb for the ounce of skull growing on their head.
Rhinos have evolved to have no natural predators, save for the .458 caliber bullet. They reproduce one calf every 22 months. Their population is marked for extinction, for genocide.
