Help Edith After the Passing of her Husband

Hello amazing people. I’m Betty - the “unlogical” daughter of Whitt & Edith Wray.

Whitt & Edith have devoted their entire lives to helping others - whether it be in church or Scrapbooking or any other possible way that they could help. Now, Edith needs our help!

Edith is the co-owner of ScrapbookingWithMe.com. She also has a YouTube (Scrapbooking With Me) where she is so generous and gracious to provide amazing content and tutorials without asking for anything in return. Her life for the last several years has been devoted to taking care of Whitt after he had to go on disability.

Whitt has had some health issues over the last several years and even defied the doctors in 2005 when the doctors said that Whitt was dying. Whitt proved them wrong and lived another 17 years!

Over the last few months, Whitt had some additional issues with his heart, but he was pretty much given a clean bill of health on Thursday, September 15, 2022 with just some minor changes to his medications. However, on Sunday, September 18, 2022, that all changed. Whitt was rushed to the hospital in Cullman, Alabama where it was determined that he had an aortic dissection. He was immediately med-flighted to UAB in Birmingham.

Upon arrival at UAB, the doctors couldn’t find the tear in the heart. Everything was looking much better. But, Whitt had a UTI and had developed sepsis. The sepsis was more than his body could handle and he went into cardiac arrest.

At 1:03 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, Whitt went home to be with the Lord. As you can imagine, this has been devastating to Edith, Melina, Elisha, and the rest of the family.

Edith will have expenses that will continue to come in as she starts receiving bills for medical treatment that wasn’t covered by insurance. The med-flight to UAB was $30K and we have no idea how much (if any) of that will be covered by insurance.

As Edith has given to so many unconditionally, now is the time where we can support her and give back to her at a time when she needs us the most.

Edith’s livelihood comes from her small business, Scrapbookingwithme.com as well as revenues earned through her YouTube Channel, Scrapbooking With Me. After this crisis, she has been unable to film any YouTube videos and ship a lot of orders. Her amazing followers have been binge watching her YouTube to try and keep her numbers up, but that can only do so much.

Please help Edith during this time as now is when she needs us the most.
