Help Edward Towers ThroughThis Difficult Time

My name is Dennis V. and I am starting a fundraiser for a friend, Edward Towers. Ed, as most of us call him, is a man who did his share to make life better for all of us. When he was given the opportunity to serve for the country, he joined the US Military and was stationed in Germany for 2 years and spent his last 2 years stationed in MA at Fort Devens. After that, he was honorably discharged and continued to live as an ordinary citizen. His work to help though did not stop there because he took up a job in a healthcare, helping healthcare providers' work in caring for the American people easier. While in the healthcare, he also devoted his time caring for his parents until their passing. His dad passed away in 2001 from Alzheimer’s Disease. His mom passed away in 2011. He spent all his time outside of work caring for his parents, that he did not have the time to grow his own family, a family that would someday care for him just like what he did to his parents.

Late in 2021, his health started to fail and is very evident on his physical appearance and on his ability to perform in his job as a Medical Technologist. After a battery of medical tests, news came in: Pancreatic Cancer. This took a toll on his overall health and worse, he was unable to work. He was just too weak to do anything for himself. But bills still need to be paid. There are also everyday expenses needed to live day by day. He still needs to go to the hospital to get constant medical attention. All these entail expenses. He can't work to earn a living and pay for these expenses.

This is the whole reason for this fundraiser. I started this to help Ed get through this difficult time. All his life, he had been helping others either directly or indirectly. Please, let us help him. He will not be able to get through this by himself. The amount raised will help Ed to get by as he battles this illness. It will pay for his daily medical expenses as well as make him as comfortable as possible in his home, where he lives by himself. Currently, he is on the brink of running out of personal funds. The sooner we can throw him a lifeline, the better his chances are of winning this fight.
