Help Eileen Get Her 300 hr Yoga Certification

2020 was an extremely hard year...to say the least. I feel with my whole heart that the reason I got through (and am still making it through) all the hardship is because of yoga, meditation, and mindfulness. 


I was able to create two virtual workshops over the course of the pandemic: The Foundations of Yoga Workshop and the Inward Journey Meditation Series. Both of these experiences allowed me to truly teach. I was able to see the impact of slowing and breaking down foundational yoga poses, flows, and breathing techniques to help people feel more confident in their practice. I was able to see the shift within people when I taught them different meditation techniques and how to bring mindfulness into their lives. 


This is what lights me up. 

This is what sparks the fire within me. 

This is what fuels my joy and purpose. 


I started practicing yoga when I was 12 years old. It was right after I decided to end my dancing career. I didn’t feel comfortable in my body. Then I found yoga. I practiced weekly with my mom. I fell in love, and I haven’t stopped since. 


I first got certified in 2014 through a weekend course by Beth Shaw called Yoga Fit. I learned a lot. Eventually, I taught at the gym I first discovered yoga at. Later, I taught at a chiropractor’s office and held sessions with friends and family. 


It wasn’t until 2018 that I took my 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certification at The Space in Brighton with Kelli McMullen. The training changed me. This is where I learned that yoga is all about going on a journey of self-discovery. It's a coming home to one’s true essence. As instructors, we look within and meet ourselves, then share our discoveries with the world. 


Now, I’m ready to dive in as a student (officially) again. Ashley Turner has created a 300-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher training, focused on Yoga Psychology and Yoga Therapy. 


I know I’m not alone when I say that this year has impacted my mental health. 


I’m eager to learn more about how yoga and meditation can help heal our minds and how we can manage our mindsets. 


Here’s the thing. It’s $5,000. 

It’s a huge investment. But I know that what I will learn and then share with  the world will be priceless.
