Help Elena & Alen Survive Losing Their Parents

Meet Elena (9 yrs) and Alen (7 yrs) who just lost their loving mother Kristina Kross to Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer on Sunday, June 13, 2021.

Much like their parents, Elena and Alen are amazing one of a kind kids. Elena, has a heart as big as her mother’s, enjoys coloring, drawing, and baking with her grandmother. Alen, who is highly inquisitive, religiously follows Marvel superheroes, particularly Spiderman and rides his scooter.

Tragedy struck this young family four years ago when Kristina’s husband Haik Tashchyan died in February, 2017 after a cancer diagnosis at the young age of 40. Just as Kristina and the kids began to adjust to their devastating loss, tragedy struck again. Kristina was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which she vigorously fought with all of her strength.

Kristina and I went to pharmacy school together and I have had the privilege and honor of having her and her family in my life over the past 19 years.

The thought of losing both parents at such a young age is bone chilling. Please open your hearts to these children.
